Things I’m up to at the moment:

1. Building up my quantitative portfolio for some clients: this includes using SQL to get participant lists and R to generate reports and statistical analyses.

2. A master's degree in information science from CUNY Queens.

3. Pro-bono work for Code for America, Technology Empowerment Lab, and Food4Life.

4. Printmaking and freaking out about the FIFA World Cup being hosted in my hometown (Atlanta).

established a UX research practice that reduced the time to insight by 40%, saving months of redundant work
led survey research and multivariate analysis + user interviews to inform discovery phase, increasing overall survey completion rate by 500% in six weeks and creating five new personas

conducted usability and content testing on scheduling prototypes for an internal SaaS tool that raised scheduling productivity by 7% in one month,
eventually led to 50% increase in scheduled health benefits hearings in one year, and 2020 FedHealth IT Award

Va.gov UX strategy and accessibility; journey mapping

development of a new accessible/equitable framework that was adopted company-wide (was asked to speak on it at 2022 Code for America summit)
created interactive mobile + desktop prototypes; conducted trauma-informed research with users on external-facing Va.gov site

Content design, research, and marketing for a Digital Transformation campaign

wireframing, design, and research of campaign website (which is still live, although it’s changed quite a bit)
partnering with sales and marketing teams to establish a “funnel” for which the marketing qualified lead goal was met in one week
